Our Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church is a Christian congregation that has been called by God to bring His Word to the Yelm area community.

In your Creator's Word, He first tells you about your sins - those laws of God that you have broken - and that you cannot do anything that can save yourself from eternal punishment in hell.

But, this Word also tells you that God the Son became man - Jesus Christ - to live a holy life for you, to suffer the punishment of hell for you, to rise from the dead for you so that you can be given the promise that
your sins are forgiven and that heaven really is your home.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services follow a similar order every Sunday. We let the Word of God guide us into the words we hear and speak, and the songs we sing. We believe that God is present among us in the service to give us His gifts, and we act accordingly.

What is the community like?
You can expect a warm welcome from the members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church when you visit. You will find a generous group of people who, because of the love God has given them, spend time serving Him and one another as well as our local community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Come and visit on Sunday! If that's too intimidating, though, spend time on the church website, listen to some of Pastor's sermons, call the Pastor to schedule a time to get together before you come to a service to learn a bit more about what we believe and do.
